Gala Yuzawa, directly linked to Tokyo via the Joetsu Shinkansen bullet train, has a ski center right outside its gates. Within its 3 areas are 16 highly varied courses. The Falcon Course, which provides beautiful views and allows you to ski all the way down to the ski center, is very popular. The ski center boasts shops, rental counters, restaurants, child care facilities, spa and much more. There is a free shuttle bus that connects Yuzawa’s accommodation district with the slopes.
