Kagura holds a vast field consisting of three areas: moderate slopes spread across in the Mitsumata area, the Kagura area blessed with powder snow that has the highest altitude, and the Tashiro area which offers magnificent views overlooking Lake Tashiro and gentle slopes. The summit of the ski slope is as high as 1,845m, and due to its abundant amount of snowfall, you can enjoy skiing until the beginning of summer.
Located at the base of the slopes are Tashiro station and Mitsumata station and each station offers easy access to the ski slopes via aerial tramway. Inns and lodges nestle around Mitsumata station, and at Futai near the Tashiro station, lodging facilities are also offered. Other accommodations are available at Naeba (accessible by Doragondola) and Yuzawa Onsen (accessible by Express Shuttle Bus). You can also stay at Wada Goya hut near the gondola summit station. From Naeba to Tashiro area, it takes 25 minutes by the Doragondola.
