Only 40 minutes by car from Morioka station, it takes only 39 minutes between Sendai station and Morioka station by Bullet train, 2hours 11minutes between Tokyo station and Shizukuishi station, 2hours 20minutes between Tokyo station and Morioka station. There are dry snow qualities, you can enjoy eleven variety courses for skiing and snow- boarding, including downhill courses for male and female which used at the Alpine ski world championship, forest course and free ride parks. The 5 lifts and a ropeway are laid out functionally.
There are also Snow land for Snow Mountain beginner and snow player, fulfilling facilities for family. There is Shizukuishi Prince Hotel in front of the ski slope, you can enjoy outdoor bath with a source sprinkled with hot springs, certified as hot spring heritage after skiing at Shizukuishi Takakura Onsen.
