Enjoy the most famous hot spring in Japan after skiing on the scenic slopes seeing the overlooking Lake Tazawa in winter.

Tazawako Skiing Area is a very popular ski resort with a great location it's like a slide into Lake Tazawa. There are variety 13 courses that we can get great view from everywhere, and these courses are laid out on a vast slope so you can ride safely. It is very popular to ride on the National Athletic Meet course that slides from 1,200 meters at Komagatake 8th station to 700 meters above sea level. If you want to enjoy fresh snow, you can choose at the un-groomed “Mizusawa Champion Course”, “Komagatake Third Course” and “Ginrei Paradise Course”. There is also a Park and Skill-up Course which having bumps, rails and kickers. Kuromoriyama course is held the “Mogul World Cup”, and top players are coming all over the world.
Backcountry tour (Front desk at the Winter Tour Desk in Ski Center Lera) where you can experience the best snow quality of Tohoku is also available. From Tokyo, you can take by Shinkansen in about 2 hours and 50 minutes, and by buses in about 30 minutes, in total about 3 hours and 30 minutes. Many hotels, ryokan and B&B in the surrounding area that can responsed to various needs. There are hot springs such as “Nyuto Onsen”, “Tazawako Kogen Onsen-kyo”, “Mizusawa Onsen-kyo” and “Shin-tamagawa Onsen” near Tazawako Snow Resort. In particular, “Nyuto Onsen” is a hot topic overseas is one of the hot springs that you should definitely visit after you ride.
