NISEKO

“Niseko”is located 100km South of Sapporo city and is blessed with plenty of nature and Wildlife. Yoteizan is the highest mountain in Niseko and is symbolic of the Niseko area. The seasonal Eurasian wind carries plenty of moisture from the Japan sea and creates excellent powder snow in the Winter season. Niseko is famous for its powder snow and attracts many visitors from overseas.
The”Niseko Annupuri”summit (1308meters) has two resorts called “Hirafu”and”Hanazono”which combine to make a vast skiing area. It also holds 3 more resorts called “Niseko Village”, “Niseko Annupuri” and “Niseko Moiwa”. Niseko’s vast landscape and beautiful winter forest provides the best winter holiday for beginner to advanced level skiers and snowboarders.

Niseko Hanazono
Located on the East side of Niseko Annupuri, Niseko Hanazono surrounded by conserved forest. The east side of the course produces good quality snow and is very popular with skiers. The “Free Ride Ski Park”located on the bottom half of the slope is very satisfying and the best in Niseko. From the top half of the slope beginners to advanced level skiers can enjoy the long run slope with views of the”Yoichidake”, “Muinesan”and Yoteizan mountains. Visitors can enjoy dining while looking out the large windows of the “308”restaurant located at the foot of the slope.

Niseko Village
Niseko Annupuri is located on the South hillside and has plenty of adventure. The mid area has a diverse landscape filled with plenty of fun slides. The top area is clear of trees with vast open runs. Views of the Pacific ocean can be seen when the weather is fine and the Green Leaf Hotel, Hilton Niseko Village is within close distance at the base of the slope.

Niseko Grand Hirafu
A vast ski slope with fantastic views of Yoteizan in front. It was construct- ed in 1961 and was the first ski slope in the country to be built. The bot- tom half of the slope is landscaped to create a dynamic ride. The mid slope consists of a smooth ride through the Rock Birch forest, and the top 1,000 meter area opens out into a liberating downhill slide. The Alpen Hotel is located within the course and can be accessed directly from the slope with Hirafu Town also located close by.

Niseko Moiwa
Moiwa is famous for its excellent powder snow not only by the locals but loved by many ski and snowboarders from Australia and Europe. The resort has a private secluded atmosphere since it has avoided large scale development over the past. Moiwa’s beautiful landscape has been care- fully preserved.
