Only two hours away from the Tokyo metropolitan area, Kawaba Ski Resort offers the perfect powder snow. The Crystal course from the summit leading you to the Panorama course and then to the Sakuragawa course combined is a 3300m long course of pure bliss.
The Crystal course runs through white birch and beech woods. Skyline with 1350m in length and with a maximum slope angle of 29 degrees, it has bumps on the latter half and is for intermediate skiers and snowboarders. For bumpy terrain enthusiasts, ‘Mumeihou Trial’ with a maximum mogul bump angle of 34 degrees is fully recommended. The 5 ski lifts are arranged efficiently, so transferring between lifts can be done effortlessly. On sunny days, from the exceptional photo locations, Mt. Fuji can be seen clearly.
The “FIRST STEP GELAENDE” equipped with a snow escalator with a roof is catered towards children and beginners, and they can enjoy their snow sports debut safely and comfortably without any risks.
