AMASSIVE SKIING AREA - an altitude of 1,930m, a ski slope area of 98ha and 1,080m above sea level - spreading across the Ryuoo North West Slope offers panoramic views and powder snow.
The world’s largest 166 seater aerial tramway connects two areas: the “Skyland” where you can ski straight onto natural snow as soon as it opens in the morning and a valley rich in slope configurations.
The Skyland area at the top of the ski slope is especially irresistible for powder snow lovers. With a maximum inclined angle of 36 degrees, the “Kiotoshi Course” is famous among powder snow maniacs. The main ski slope called the “Valley Area” is flat and wide, utilising it’s natural landscape.
The mountain peak via Ryuoo Ropeway (aerial tramway) has an altitude of 1,770m with views looking down on Nagano, Nakano, Iiyama and Kijimadaira. When the conditions are right, visitors can witness the wondrous “Unkai” (sea of clouds) that can only be justified to those who are there to view it.
