ABLE HAKUBA GORYU is the first ski resort in Japan to implement the ski gondola and offers rich variations of terrains with an elevation difference of 926m. ABLE Hakuba Goryu holds three main areas: Iimori, Toomi and Alps Daira, where Alps Daira can be accessed by riding the gondola. The Iimori slope and Toomi slope are spacious and with a moderate decline catering for beginners and intermediates. For advanced skiers and snowboarders, the Snow Diving Course is a challenging ungroomed terrain with bumps and powder snow. From the top area of the terrain, stunning views of Goryu Dake, where ABLE Hakuba Goryu’s name was derived from, and other mountains can be enjoyed.
Hakuba47 where lift passes from ABLE Hakuba Goryu can also be used are connected at the summit and its wide array of terrains guarantee to satisfy all levels of skiers and snowboarders. Around 200 accommodations are huddled throughout the Iimori area, Kamishiro area, Echoland, and Misorano area. The shuttle bus services in each village are efficient and free shuttle services are available from Wadano and Happo areas.
